ABOUT ME

I am Gizem Tugce, born in Bursa, Turkey; currently living in Porto, Portugal.
I am an English teacher, musician, and a taste-maker.
Luckily, I was born into a family of rich cuisine. I have learned cooking from my mother, who was born in Adıyaman (eastern Turkey). I cook Turkish Dinners at many events and restaurants in Porto and cooked for a Turkish Restaurant in Seville. After moving back to Porto this autumn, I started to work on this project, Kitchen Turquesa, for personalized advice, cook on orders, workshops including an English or Portuguese workbook originally translated from Turkish and edited by me.
I always enjoyed cooking, especially if it is for my beloved ones. Now, I focus on sharing my favorite originally vegetarian recipes from my homeland hope to bring you something that you’ll love to taste.
